| A number of phone solicitors have rented a block of virtual 800 numbers from the phone company for their purposes. Therefore, the callerID varies from one call to the next. Is it possible to 'wildcard' numbers on the contacts list so each number does not have to be entered manually? For Example: 800752*. Thanks.

| Hi,
Sure, that should be possible to implement, just so long as there is enough demand for an option like that.
We'd also need to make sure that adding a wildcard option doesn't affect the accuracy of the product in a negative way.
That's because we already successfully handle situations where a company buys a wholesale block of numbers. As soon as the company starts to use that new block, each individual telephone number of their entire range quickly gets blacklisted on the ColdCallBlocker Network. That makes for a far more accurate approach to unwanted call filtering than just using a wildcard match. For example, we often notice that the block of numbers a company is using is not necessary a sequence of consecutive numbers.
