| Hello,
Did you see any on-screen indication at all when you received the incoming call? If you did, but the window did not show the caller's telephone number then your modem is not compatible with the Caller ID service provided by your phone carrier. If, on the other hand, you saw nothing at all when you were called, then just click the "Options" button and check that you have selected the correct modem. The "Show Modem Log" button on that screen will indicate whether or not the selected modem is working correctly.
Using ColdCallBlocker on a laptop is supported, but it's best to use an external modem. Most modems that are built directly into laptops are the limited chipset, "WinModem" style devices which are unlikely to support advanced features such as retrieving CallerID information.
Regards,

| This happened to me also with the new update. I did not have any caller-id data displaying. Ie - Box popped up without any info in it.
The software had an invalid command to turn on the caller-id for my modem. ie AT+VCID=1,
it should have been AT#CID=1. You can test this in hyperterminal in windows. Or you can just key in the commands in the software and check the modem log for an error. I had to get the command from creative's website. My modem is a Creative modem blaster DI5633, chipset smartlink 56K voice modem. Look at the modem log to see if your getting an error from the caller-id on command the software is using. Looks like the software isn't selecting the correct command based on they type of modem you have.
