ColdCallBlocker™ for Windows™ User Guide - Modem Tab
The second page of settings on the ColdCallBlocker™ options window is for defining modem parameters
and there are usually just two reasons for accessing this tab - selecting a modem and viewing the communication log of that device.
Use the first field on this tab to select the analog modem that ColdCallBlocker™
should use to monitor incoming telephone calls on your land-line.
The other options such as Baud Rate and the various Modem Commands are for advanced users only
and can usually be left at their default values.
The Country field is an important value that is used by ColdCallBlocker™
for formatting telephone numbers and for determining which incoming telephone calls to filter.
The value of this field is taken from your current Windows™ regional settings.
To view the communications data that has been transmitted to and from your analog modem,
click the "Show Modem Log" button.
This information will often be requested by ColdCallBlocker™ support staff
in order to diagnose compatibility issues with your device.
