Responding to an unwanted telephone call from a brand new cold-caller, one that
ColdCallBlocker™ does not yet know about, is quick and easy.
Just select the "Report Cold Call" option on the main menu of the application.
Doing so will display the following screen:
For speed, it is not a requirement to provide values for any of the fields on this screen.
Indeed, to just report the cold-caller and also to instruct your own installation of
ColdCallBlocker™ to block future telephone calls from them,
simply press the "Continue" button.
If you are able to specify additional information such as the name of the company that cold-called you
and/or what they were selling then this will help us to improve the protection that
ColdCallBlocker™ offers by identifying current cold-calling patterns.
Pressing the "Continue" button displays one more form relating to the cold-call you received:
It provides you with the additional option of starting a new public discussion thread about the cold-caller you are reporting
using the forums on the ColdCallBlocker™ web-site.
This allows you to let others know about the caller and your experiences dealing with them.
As with the previous screen, providing any information here is entirely optional.
Once you are done, press the Finish button and that caller will be reported to the
ColdCallBlocker Network™ and will be cut off if they try to call you again.
